Exterior Sign Concept, Behind the Glass
The Behind the Glass Gallery is an art gallery in Rochester, NY dedicated to supporting and amplifying the work of under-represented area artists. Open since 2023, the gallery is located within the Mercantile on Main, a multifunctional downtown hub housing offices, eateries, and event space.
This sign concept plays with materials, dimension, and the notion of picture frames and allows for interchangeable event signage. Intended to stand at an exterior corner of the building's entrance, the sign supports both the gallery's identity, and the need for flexible informational signage.
